JAY J畢業於University of the East Dance Troupe。他在10歲時開始跳舞，接觸的舞種廣泛，包括古典及當代芭蕾舞、爵士舞及Hip Hop。在1994年，他加入Blue Blood Dance Group 並有機會表演不同類型的Hip Hop舞蹈。於2001年，為當時所屬的Chameleon Dance Company表演當代芭蕾舞。至2003年，Jay J在菲律賓芭蕾舞劇院參與了多個古典芭蕾舞表演，包括Romeo and Juliet, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Andres Bonifacio 及 Madame Butterfly。
在2005年，他於香港迪士尼樂園擔任巡遊表演成員及角色，直至2010年開始，成為Hong Kong Funky Dance Centre 的導師。
JAY J has been dancing since he was 10 years old. He graduated from University of the East Dance Troupe. He dance different types of dance, such as classical and modern ballet, jazz, hip hop. In 1994, he joined the Blue Blood Dance Group and perform different types of Hip Hop dance. In 2001, he performed various types of Modern contemporary ballet in Chameleon Dance Company. In 2003, he performed different types of Classical Ballet such as Romeo and Juliet, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Andres Bonifacio & Madame Butterfly in Philippine Ballet Theatre. Since arriving in Hong Kong in 2005, he became a Parade dancer and character performer in Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Parks Limited. In 2010, he has been teaching different types of dance in Hong Kong Funky Dance Company Limited.
